The crayons I ordered as a Christmas gift for the library came just in time (the day before the last story time of the year). With a fresh Christmas mani/pedi from Mommy and her new Christmas barrette, Miss Roo was ready to roll.
She picked silver sparkly (we dubbed it sugar plum fairy) finger nails and red toe nails. I got smart and used speed coat this time (totally brilliant). Later in the day I added white stripes to make candy cane toes to match my fingers.
We presented Miss Kit with a very heavy box of 13 Crayola 64packs for our library's children's section. It was a juggling act to get our books to return, the crayons and Roo in on crutches in the wet weather, but sooooooooo worth it.
It was great. She opened them right up and a few kids (Roo included) started coloring right away. Is there anything better than shiny new crayons? I'm so glad no one will be short a color for a while. The last one is a great shot of her new barrette. I went back to Craving Cuteness on Etsy and asked her to make me some poinsettias. Super cute, as always. We presented those to her friends from school today too.
