This Year's Christmas Cards

At some point last year I was watching a Psych Christmas episode in which Shawn is in the office and the Grinch walks past the widow behind him. Pardon me while I Google that episode name for you..."Polarizing Express" from season five (you're welcome). I decided holiday photo bombs was the way to go for our next Christmas card. Mike agreed and soon we were seeking out cheesy family photos to imitate in our post card style pictures. Oh and did I mention Mike talked me into to doing FOUR of them? In the end it was really fun that everybody had something different, but next year we'll go back to a single card for sure.

Here they are! Top to bottom: Bumble (abominable snowman from Rudolph) putting the star on a tree, Heat Miser (Year Without a Santa Claus) riding on a geyser, The Grinch stealing Christmas and Santa peeing into the ocean.

The Big Man

Love at first sight, Christmas 2009 3months old.

Two screaming toddlers and a partridge in a pear tree... Christmas 2010 1yr and 3months old.

Thoughtful hugs for Mr. C. This was Riley's first of two Santa visits this year (2yrs and 3months old). This gorgeous photo was taken at Enchanted Forrest Photography. It was a visit with Santa with all her buddies in their jammies. Riley wasn't her normal smiley self, but she was super sweet and left saying "Yeah, Santa's a nice guy. Yeah."

Right to business. We let Isaac go first so she could watch and I talked her through the procedure a few times before we left. She got right up on his knee and whispered "I want a dolly, a big girl bike and a (s)quid". He gave her a candy cane and she gave him a big hug.

I'm pretty sure the look in this picture is because Mommy's picture taking is interrupting her Santa business. What a big girl!

Remember the Belly

So hard to imagine I was ever as big as that last picture (or as tiny as the first one for that matter!)
